4Cr14Mov steel is a low carbon high Chromium steel that offers good corrosion resistance. The hardness can reach 55-57 HRC after heat treatment.
4Cr14Mov Steel Composition: Chromium (Cr) 14.00%, Carbon (C) 0.48%, Molybdenum (Mo) 0.55%, Vanadium (V) 0.10%, Manganese (Mn) 1.00%, Silicon (Si) 0.41%, Phosphorus (P) 0.02%, Sulfur (S) 0.03%.
4Cr14Mov steel has good toughness and is easier to sharpen than 7Cr17Mov steel.
